The Scottish Robin, dainty and colorful, is considered a symbol of good luck. A member of the old world flycatcher family, the only similarity to the American Robin is its red breast. The size of this pin is 45 mm by 23 mm (about 1¾ by ⅞ inch). The pin back is sterling silver. Sterling silver and Heathergem. Handcrafted in Scotland. Each Heathergem is unique, with it's own distinctive medley of colors typical of the Scottish moors -- orange, red, green, blue and purple. Great care is taken to match those used for the earrings.
